Coding Qt for greater interoperability and portability – an introduction to the OpenCar platform
In this presentation we will describe a modular architecture that enables automotive infotainment system integrators to more easily reuse Qt applications across various automaker projects. This approach enhances code portability, simplifies validation and packaging and enables over-the-air maintenance of automotive applications. We will also introduce the OpenCar platform, an in-car application framework, application development environment, online test and collaboration tools. You will learn how Qt can be extended through tight integration with OpenCar’s automotive infotainment framework.
