Qt provides a fantastic set of tools for building apps that can run on multiple platforms, but it’s much harder to start using it if you already have pre-existing, native mobile apps for each major platform that you don’t want to rewrite.  In this presentation we’ll explain how the OneDrive team transitioned its existing, modern applications on iOS, Android, and Windows to using a common, Qt-based cross-platform core with minimal work.  We’ll review the reasons you should consider making a similar change, the key technical challenges you’ll encounter and how to overcome them, and benefits you can expect as a result of the change.
